NIX.CZ – Neutral Internet eXchange of not only Czech Republic
NIX.CZ, z.s.p.o. (Professional Association of Legal Entities) is a company which associates Czech and foreign Internet related businesses in order to mutually interconnect their networks. The access to the infrastructure is enabled at five localities in Prague.
At the present time, NIX.CZ Association is the largest Neutral IXP (Internet Exchange Point) in the Czech Republic and ranks among the 10 largest IXPs in the world. Consistent planning, sophisticated technical solution and 24/7/365 technical support lead to failure-free operation of the node. The association encourages and facilitates IPv6 protocol based peering since 2003.
NIX.CZ is dynamic and open company which actively participates in the Internet development. The General Meetings and Social Events enable the members and customers to meet not as competitors but as allies cooperating on the future progress of the association.
The association organizes free lectures on up-to-date subjects for its members. The next lecture subject is IPv6 protocol.
